First gig was at the Blue House Cafe, Friday,.October 8th. Six friends came and it was a fine first outing. Some loud noises were made. the highlight of the night was Dylan's "The Tim's They are a Changin'" set to a loop of Housa Street Muisc.
2nd gig Friday, November 19th was at the Blue House Cafe again. It's a GREAT place, very cozy and they have wonderful food. This night was quite amgical as ten people showed up and the music flowed like wine. Or honey. Or something really good. There was alovely vesrion of ee cumming's 'sun in my mouth.'
3rd gig Friday December 17th again at the Blue House. I could this was going to be an auspicious night as the students in my class were nuts. I passed three police-lit accidents on the way to Florence and two raging ambulanced screamed by during the first set. I got there late- no soundcheck and had my host of bugaboos. The song "New Year'sa Day' was a highlight, set to a loop of Ghanaian Donno Drummers.
A prtotracted version of Coyote Crew took stage next with a rousing version of "Shantung String incident."
